Factory Systemes Groupe Acquires Majority Share in Wonderware Italia
Factory Systemes Groupe is pleased to announce that it has acquired a majority shareholding in Wonderware Italia, the main distributor in Italy of industrial software solutions dedicated to accelerating the digital transformation of operations.
Headquartered near Milan, Wonderware Italia sells and supports over 2,000 customers in various industry and infrastructure segments to help increase their operational efficiency and sustainability. The company has entered in a new agreement with Aveva to extend its ability to support end-users, OEMs and System integrators in enabling flexible and scalable solutions from low-end HMI up to cloud-based enterprise data management in order to empower better decision-making at all levels.
The company will be renamed Factory Software Italy shortly after the transaction.

This strategic acquisition will enable Sonepar’s Italian operating companies to extend their value propositions, in line with the Group’s ambition to become the leading Industry Electrical Distributor offering a full range of services, including software solutions.
